LA based Australian Singer-Songwriter Lenka and her band will be performing Live at Zirca Megaclub on the 17th December 2009 as part of her Asian stopover.
Best known for songs like “The Show” and “Trouble is a friend” popularised by television series “Ugly Betty” , “Grey’s Anatomy” and the movie “Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging”, the very talented Lenka will be performing in Singapore for the very first time during her Asia Tour on the 17th December 2009. As part of her headline show in Asia which includes stopovers at Tokyo, Seoul and Thailand, Lenka is set to capture fans with her uplifting vocals and artwork specially brought in for the Singapore set. Working with her partner in crime, Designer/illustrator John Gulliver Hancock, the 60 min set promises to be a feast for both the eyes and ears.
She was named VH1's "You Oughta Know Artist" and her song “The show” and “Trouble” was in iTunes “Single Of The Week”. Blender Magazine called her quirky and hot, Marie Claire compared her to a fresh coat of fuchsia paint and called her surprisingly cool.
