SHINE wants to honour these exceptional individuals for the annual Stars of SHINE award. Three categories are available this year namely; Youth Inspiration, Youth Contribution and Youth Venturer.

BACKGROUND

Stars of SHINE (SOS) is a youth role model award held concurrently with SHINE, a youth festival created by youth. The award was inaugurated in 2007 and it is jointly supported by the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports and the National Youth Council.

The Stars of SHINE Award recognizes outstanding youths who have overcome personal struggles to make significant contributions to the community.  Through the Award, they will serve as role models and source of encouragement and inspiration to other youths.
